Nick de Bois is the Parliamentary Spokesman for Enfield North and will stand as the Conservative candidate at the next election.
Nick's job is to be Enfield North's representative within the Conservative Party; to make sure that Enfield North has a strong voice at the heart of the policy making process in the Conservative Party in Westminster; to make sure that Enfield North's interests are served before policy is made, not just when Parliament votes. A committed local activist, Nick stood as the Conservative candidate in the 2005 general election, where we came close to taking the seat off Labour reducing their majority to 1920.
Nick was born into a Service family at RAF Princess Elizabeth hospital, Ely. He now lives in Chase ward, Enfield and has four grown up children - Jessica (24), Laura (22), Madeleine (21) and Alex (19) . Nick is a keen traveller. football and rugby fan. Two of his daughters are away at University, with his eldest studying to be a doctor at Barts & London School of Medicine. His youngest daughter Madeleine is in her final year at Nottingham University, whilst Laura works in a live events company. Alex, his son, is in Africa to undertaking three months of voluntary work. In November 2009 he was lucky enough to get to married Helen.

Nick is also Managing Director of a medium sized marketing agency based in nearby Ware. Because of his extensive experience of business, he brings a wealth of understanding to Enfield North, a constituency that needs to see more jobs and businesses move into the area.His recent campaign, 'Back our local economy' is helping to push business into local shops and tradesmen and women at a time when they desperately need help.
